From 2003 to 2010, J.Silva presented his work in various art galleries in Buenos Aires, Argentina and participated in international art fairs, including BAphoto. He also gave lectures and participated in exhibitions with leading contemporary artists in Argentina. Additionally, he brought his work to art fairs in countries such as Mexico and Chile some of his work can be found also in private collections. After an absence of almost thirteen years (during which time the artist has been working behind closed doors) for personal and artistic reasons, as well as due to the closing and depression of the local market. J.Silva is now returning with a new body of work. Bringing us the artist's vision of the violent, the introspective, the calm, the tension and everything in between, through the image.
